雖然遭到對方球迷襲擊 ，但比賽恢複之後，波蘭全隊還是齊心合力將勝利保持到最後 ，他們最終依靠斯維德斯基的進球1-0擊敗對手 。本輪比賽過後 ，波蘭戰績5勝2平1負積17分 ，目前以2分優勢力壓15分的阿爾巴尼亞暫居I組第二 ，落後榜首的英格蘭3分。
