根據亞足聯目前的落选力賽程安排 ，世預賽亞洲區12強賽B組第5輪中國隊對阿曼隊一戰將於11月11日進行 。人海這場比賽名義上是外联“主場” ，但因防疫的赛效原因無法真正落地在國內 ，因此國足隻能重返西亞作賽 。战国足名主力目前 ，单两整個主場西遷的因伤報批工作還在進行 ，亞足聯尚為公布中阿之戰的落选力具體比賽場地和開球時間 。
為了備戰即將到來的人海12強賽 ，阿曼隊主帥伊萬科維奇公布了一份25人大名單 ，外联其中國內勁旅西卜一共輸送了11名國腳 ，赛效而在海外效力的战国足名主力球員共有3人 ，分別是魯沙伊迪 、葉赫馬迪和阿格巴裏 。因為有傷在身 ，後防核心穆薩拉米以及主力前鋒加薩尼都因傷落選。
12強賽前4輪戰罷 ，阿曼隊2勝2負積6分 ，暫列B組第三位。在踢完與越南隊的比賽後，主教練伊萬科維奇就回到克羅地亞薩格勒布與家人團聚 ，隨著阿曼職業聯賽重啟 ，伊萬也不需要靠長時間的封閉集訓來維持國腳們的狀態 。
上周，伊萬科維奇啟程飛抵阿曼首都馬斯喀特 。在看完第三輪聯賽之後 ，他向阿曼足協遞交了一份25人的集訓名單 。值得一提的是，之前有傷在身的紮希爾·阿格巴裏和曼紮爾·阿拉維均及時傷愈 ，出現在榜單中 ，而剛剛轉投加拉法（卡塔爾）的後防核心穆薩拉米卻出現了傷病複發的情況 ，無緣本期集訓 。至於老傷號加薩尼 ，在塞爾維亞集訓期間就已經受傷 ，考慮到他的傷病比較複雜 ，主教練伊萬科維奇就幹脆讓他留在俱樂部休養 。
阿曼職業聯賽結束了最新一輪的較量後 ，按照阿曼足協的要求 ，所有國腳將在11月1日前往馬斯喀特報到 ，隨後將在主教練伊萬科維奇的帶領下進行2周集訓 。北京時間11月11日 ，阿曼隊將在客場迎戰中國男足 ，11月16日再移師主場麵對日本隊。
相比阿曼敲定25人出征名單 ，國足則還未確定出征西亞名單。根據計劃 ，目前正在上海集訓的國足將於11月3日下午把全隊31人分成2個小組，然後各自進行一場熱身賽，對手是中超的深圳隊和中甲的浙江隊 。在這兩場熱身賽結束後 ，李鐵將正確遴選25人前往西亞。
