北京時間5月15日，阿圭據《Tyc Sports》記者Gastón Edul的罗已两年消息 ，今夏將成為自由球員的巴萨阿圭羅 ，已經與巴薩達成了加盟協議，达成阿根廷人將以自由轉會的协议宣方式加盟紅藍軍團 ，預計交易會在歐冠決賽之後官宣。签约
在今年的欧冠3月底，曼城官方宣布不再與阿圭羅續約 ，决赛藍月軍團的后官隊史射手王將在今夏合同到期後 ，以自由身的阿圭身份離開球隊 。現年32歲的罗已两年阿圭羅 ，迄今為止總共代表曼城出戰384次 ，巴萨打入257球 ，达成幫助藍月軍團贏得過5次英超冠軍、协议宣1次足總杯冠軍、签约和5次聯賽杯冠軍 。本賽季的歐冠聯賽 ，曼城一路過關斬將殺入決賽，藍月軍團在決賽中的對手是切爾西 ，阿圭羅也有望以歐冠冠軍的身份離開球隊 。
據悉，阿圭羅將以自由轉會的方式加盟巴薩 ，並與紅藍軍團簽訂一份為期兩年的合同 。此外 ，阿圭羅的年薪將遠遠低於在曼城效力時期，阿根廷人之所以做出如此讓步，是因為他想與摯友梅西一起踢球 。
