迪巴拉目前稅後年薪為730萬歐元 ，尤文在二月份會為為其開出新的續約報價，最高年薪報價不會超過730萬歐元 ，尤文甚至有可能會降低報價 。尤文的這一舉動不難理解，斑馬軍團如今薪資壓力極大 ，甚至已經落得要出售德利赫特來維持生存的地步了 。
迪巴拉理解尤文的處境 ，但對俱樂部高層出爾反爾的態度感到非常不滿 。TyC電視台指出 ，迪巴拉已經決定不再與尤文進行續約談判 ，他準備在今夏以自由轉會的方式告別都靈城 。由於迪巴拉與尤文的合同隻剩下不到六個月 ，如今任何球隊都可以與阿根廷人進行接觸 。不過按照此前情況來看 ，迪巴拉似乎並沒有太多的潛在下家 ，他這類型的球員在當今足壇戰術體係中並不太受重用 。
