從年初新賽季備戰期外援中衛邁斯托羅維奇膝蓋重傷 ，到前不久隊長奧斯卡腳部骨折 ，盯上队莱度超对抗再到昨天官方通報的海港巴西前鋒洛佩斯賽季報銷，上海海港今年訓練場上出現的科训嚴重傷病，讓大家覺得十分蹊蹺，练强充滿疑惑 。前任
傷病為什麽盯上了海港隊 ？真刀真枪不得不提的一個重要因素是球隊新主教練萊科的訓練理念和風格與前任佩雷拉有很大的不同 。
首先是伤病在訓練量和訓練強度上 ，現在海港隊的盯上队莱度超对抗每堂訓練課都要超過佩雷拉執教時期，這也是海港球員們共同的感受 。
比如最讓大家怕的科训是 ，基本上每堂訓練課都是练强用幾組折返跑和變速跑來收尾 ，繼續“折磨”已經很疲憊的前任球員。還有，真刀真枪除了特別炎熱的伤病盛夏季節 ，海港隊今年的訓練一直被安排在上午至中午這個時間段 。
萊科的訓練理念就是訓練為實戰服務 ，包括體能和強度都要和實際比賽匹配 。老將於海之前在一次接受采訪時就說過 ，球隊一堂訓練課的量甚至都超過了90分鍾的正式比賽 。
當然 ，對於身體訓練和體能儲備，佩雷拉執教的時候也十分重視 ，但一般都是在賽季前的準備期 。賽季開始後 ，以往海港隊都會降低兩場比賽間的訓練量 ，尤其是賽程密集的時候 。萊科的訓練課卻一直保持著高強度 ，即使今年的賽程比以往更加密集 。
雖然已經執教了十個月左右 ，但從歐洲來的萊科還是需要時間來適應。更何況 ，如今中超變成了支離破碎的賽會製比賽 ，這是萊科執教生涯中從來沒有經曆過的情況 。如何更好地安排球隊的訓練節奏 ，找到合適的訓練量和訓練強度 ，其實這位歐洲少帥也是一支在摸著石頭過河的探索之中 。
其實 ，相比其他球隊傷兵滿營的情況 ，海港隊在聯賽進行期間遇到的大傷病隻有一次——楊世元的膝蓋扭傷（需要七周左右來恢複） 。
嚴重傷病都出現在訓練場 ，而不是比賽中 ，其實也說明了萊科平時的訓練還是起到了十分積極的作用 。至少海港隊球員們在中超第一階段，尤其是三天一賽的“魔鬼賽程”裏 ，表現出了整個中超最好的體能狀況 。
此外 ，萊科今年大幅度地啟用年輕球員 ，主力和替補之間競爭上崗 ，每個球員都可以通過自己在訓練中的表現獲得出場的機會 。因此球隊平時訓練中的對抗十分激烈 ，一定程度上也增加了球員受傷的概率 。
