北京時間4月13日，莱奥《共和報》記者Giulio Cardone在轉會專欄中談到了米蘭與萊奧的不满标續約問題，目前雙方已經陷入了僵局 ，欧万欧原因與萊奧和葡萄牙體育之間的年薪糾紛無關，而是续约因為球員認為米蘭開出的400萬歐元報價還不夠高 。
記者表示 ，合同米蘭目前專注於後防引援，米兰博特曼會成為首筆簽約 ，莱奥紅黑軍團已經與裏爾達成了3000萬歐元的不满标協議 ，荷蘭人值得米蘭投入重金 ，欧万欧他將與托莫裏和卡盧盧共同成為米蘭後防線的年薪未來，此外奧裏吉也即將自由轉會加盟，续约他將與吉魯輪換中鋒位置 。合同
目前令人擔憂的米兰是萊奧的情況 ，葡萄牙人的莱奥合同在2024年到期 ，外界一度認為續約已經板上釘釘 ，但目前來看似乎有了新變化 。萊奧與葡萄牙體育之間的糾紛定在5月17日上訴，不過續約問題與此無關 ，而是因為米蘭提出的400萬年薪報價被認為不夠高 。
據悉 ，萊奧希望米蘭能夠開出一份更高的報價 ，截至目前俱樂部並沒有這種打算 ，也不知道是否會滿足萊奧的要求，如果任何俱樂部想從米蘭帶走萊奧 ，他們必須支付9000萬歐元 ，這是紅黑軍團設定的價格 。
