在法甲第三輪巴黎聖日耳曼7比1大勝裏爾的次过比賽中 ，梅西8秒就助攻姆巴佩首開紀錄 ，這是梅西過去十年距離最長的助攻，也是梅西最快的助攻 。這個助攻還讓梅西暫時成為年度助攻王 ，一共12次 。不過 ，在上一輪西甲聯賽巴薩對陣巴拉多利德的比賽中 ，登貝萊兩次送出助攻 ，在西甲聯賽中送出13次助攻 ，成為2022年五大聯賽新的“助攻王” 。
