歐足聯宣布 ，欧足欧冠從2024-2025賽季開始 ，联官歐冠從32支球隊擴軍到36支球隊 ！年起賽製從小組賽製改為單循環的将扩军聯賽製 ，每個球隊踢8場小組賽，支球4個主場 ，欧足欧冠4個客場。联官
多出來的年起4個名額分配：
1個給歐足聯排名第五聯賽的第三名；
1個給沒能直接晉級歐冠正賽，並且參加歐冠附加賽的将扩军球隊將多決出一個歐冠正賽名額；
2個給前一個賽季集體表現最好的協會 ，比如按照本賽季的支球歐戰表現 ，這2個名額會給英格蘭和荷蘭 。欧足欧冠
