雖然老詹第三節僅僅5投1中拿到2分 ，但是這一節他貢獻了4次蓋帽 ，也刷新了自己的記錄。他的連續封蓋也起到了帶頭作用 ，給到全隊鼓舞和警醒的作用 ，最終這節湖人全隊的防守提升了一個強度，他們僅僅讓火箭拿到了18分 ，這就是詹姆斯在防守端的貢獻 。
