北京時間3月9日傳出消息 ，停运由於江蘇蘇寧已經停止運營 ，李昂因此蘇寧的有望隊員也隻能自謀出路 。有消息稱 ，加盟江苏蘇寧隊的海港何界中後衛李昂目前正在與上港接觸 ，如果一切順利 ，定成李昂極有可能轉投上港隊 。关键作為國家隊中後衛位置上的停运主力 ，李昂如果能夠加盟上海海港，李昂對於上港隊後防線的有望整體實力將起到大幅提升的作用 。
此前上港中後衛石柯合同到期之後 ，加盟江苏已經選擇轉會山東泰山 。海港何界為了彌補後防線實力不足的定成問題，上港在中後衛位置上選擇了一名來自克羅地亞的关键中後衛邁斯托羅維奇 。不過外援中後衛的停运到來 ，肯定將大大限製主教練萊科的排兵布陣，如果擁有兩到三名高水平的本土中後衛 ，球隊人員調整的空間也會有所拓寬 。
李昂與上海海港接觸的消息，此前在坊間已經開始流傳 ，除了海港 ，還有消息稱，山東泰山和深足對於李昂也很有興趣 。3月9日海港俱樂部在接受采訪時也證實了可能引進李昂的說法 ，不過同時也表示 ，俱樂部與李昂確有接觸 ，但還沒有最終敲定 ，一切要以俱樂部的官宣為準。
由於江蘇蘇寧目前處於停運狀態 ，肯定將缺席下賽季的中超聯賽，但對於這個停運的概念如何界定 ，中國足協還沒有給出明確的說法 ，如果按照“俱樂部解散”來定性 ，李昂將成為自由球員 ，上海海港可以直接選擇與李昂簽約 ，如果江蘇俱樂部的法人主體存續 ，李昂與俱樂部之間還有工作合同 ，是否還產生轉會費用目前不得而知 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
