北京時間4月6日 ，曼联據《鏡報》報道 ，修缮曼聯準備在卡靈頓訓練基地加大投資 ，卡灵改善部分設施 ，顿基地兴並已就此征詢了現有球員們的建瑜意見。
卡林頓基地的伽室基礎設施在近年來遭受到了批評，所以這家英超豪門準備投入數百萬鎊進行重新開發 。阅读去年，室及俱樂部負責人提交了新設施的场边厕規劃許可 ，包括辦公室 、曼联健身房 、修缮餐飲區以及一個擁擠的卡灵停車場 。
據報道稱 ，顿基地兴目前曼聯正在征詢隊內球員們的建瑜意見 ，有可能會增加包括額外的伽室供球員休息的房間 。訓練結束後的靜心區和康複區都在曼聯球員的願望清單上——紅魔的球星們可以在訓練結束後 ，在這些地方享受瑜伽放鬆或是閱讀放鬆這樣的活動。
事實上 ，去年曼聯已經申請了在卡靈頓建造一個擁有坐席的訓練場 ，以及新的球場照明設施規劃許可 。但除此之外 ，他們還希望能夠做出更多的有益補充 ，他們頂上了改善通道環境 ，球場邊的廁所設施 ，一個新的電力站以及卡靈頓基地東側的新的外牆等等 。
