本澤馬距離普拉蒂尼的進球紀錄還有6球的差距 ，而從目前本澤馬的競技狀態看，他在職業生涯結束前追上普拉蒂尼的難度不大 。本澤馬賽後接受了采訪 ，談起了超越特雷澤蓋一事 ：“我非常自豪，特雷澤蓋是法國的傳奇 ，超越他讓我非常高興 ，但是最重要的是法國贏球了 。”
