北京時間7月15日 ，據西班牙科貝電台報道 ，欧足歐足聯如今已經對歐洲杯上裁判和VAR的联评率判罰進行了總結，結果顯示，准确VAR的特林判罰準確率為100%。
本屆歐洲杯 ，摔倒對於VAR（視頻助理裁判）的点球最大爭議來自於英格蘭與丹麥的半決賽 。在加時賽中 ，西媒斯特林在一次突破中摔倒在禁區內，欧足裁判判罰點球 ，联评率並且得到了VAR的准确支持。不過從慢動作回放來看 ，特林丹麥球員並沒有明顯的摔倒犯規動作 ，並且在斯特林進入禁區之前 ，点球場上還出現了兩個皮球 ，西媒這些都引發了巨大的爭議 。
不過科貝電台表示 ，歐足聯在經過評估總結之後 ，認為本屆歐洲杯中VAR做出的所有裁決全部正確 ，即斯特林的確是在禁區內遭到了侵犯 ，點球判罰無誤。此外科貝電台還爆料 ，裁判在現場做出的直接判罰 ，準確率也高達93.5% 。
