北京時間4月5日晚 ，前歐足聯主席普拉蒂尼發布官方聲明 ，蒂尼蒂诺档宣布對現任國際足聯主席因凡蒂諾提起刑事訴訟 ，起诉指控其涉嫌腐敗 。主席曾亲普拉蒂尼（左）曾任歐足聯主席 ，因凡因凡蒂諾是贪腐歐足聯秘書長
普拉蒂尼在聲明中表示，他已經授權律師 ，两人對國際足聯主席因凡蒂諾以及國際足聯前法務總監馬爾科·維利格提起了刑事訴訟，密搭罪名包括以權謀私、普拉貪汙腐敗等 。蒂尼蒂诺档
普拉蒂尼曾在2015年被指控在2011年收到前國際足聯主席布拉特支付的起诉200萬瑞士法郎（約合1300萬元人民幣）的“不忠誠報酬” ，因而被禁止參與足球相關活動8年 ，主席曾亲後經上訴減少至四年。因凡
因凡蒂諾和普拉蒂尼曾在歐足聯共事 ，贪腐當時因凡蒂諾是两人歐足聯秘書長 ，普拉蒂尼是歐足聯主席 。
2016年因凡蒂諾當選國際足聯主席 ，成為國際足聯成立112年來的第九位正式主席 。2019年 ，在沒有其他候選人的情況下 ，因凡蒂諾成功連任，任期至2023年。
根據當下國際足聯相關規定 ，國際足聯主席任期最多三屆 ，也就是說因凡蒂諾最多可以再連任一次擔當主席至2027年 。
但如今普拉蒂尼提出的訴訟，對於因凡蒂諾未來在國際足聯的前景也帶來了更多的不明朗。
