2021年4月8日 ，中超新賽季中超聯賽第一階段賽程正式公布，第阶段赛德比大战4月20日將打響首輪，程月8月5日踢完第一階段 ，日揭本階段共14輪比賽 。幕战分為廣州和蘇州兩個賽區舉行，广州各賽區中8支球隊分別進行雙循環比賽 。首轮上演
根據安排 ，京沪首輪中超便將上演多場焦點對話 ，中超廣州賽區揭幕戰便上演廣州德比，第阶段赛德比大战而在23號 ，程月首輪比賽將以申花對陣國安的日揭京滬大戰作為收官。第二輪比賽兩個賽區依然會迎來頂級對話 ，幕战廣州隊VS山東泰山 ，广州上海海港VS北京國安 ，首轮上演本賽季一開局便看點十足，強強交鋒火星四射 。
在5月17日結束第5輪比賽後 ，聯賽將有一段間歇期，國家隊集結備戰 ，5月30日-6月15日 ，國足將出戰世預賽40強賽 ，6月21日 ，聯賽重燃戰火 。第一階段全部比賽將在8月5日踢完 ，此後的第二階段、第三階段比賽是否恢複主客場製，目前仍未確定。
