6月8日將是广州冠阵亞冠小組賽報名的最後截止日期 ，據《羊城晚報》透露，队亚队替队主队廣州隊方麵將在近期研究亞冠的容混比賽報名情況 ，並將相關方案上交到集團匯報 ，编线补迎如無意外 ，预备球隊將派遣以足校小將加上部分一線隊替補球員組成的帅带陣容 ，前往泰國出征此次的广州冠阵比賽 。
眾所周知 ，队亚队替队主队受到疫情以及中超賽程的容混安排，今年的编线补迎亞冠比賽已經徹底成為雞肋 ，國安是预备最先表態將派出參加全運會的梯隊，來應戰這次的帅带亞冠 。廣州隊與上港基本也是广州冠阵按照這思路部署 。那麽屆時到底由誰來帶領這支“廣州二隊”出戰亞冠呢 ？队亚队替队主队答案其實也浮出水麵 。
去年當廣州隊派二線隊出戰足協杯時 ，容混當時球隊的教練就是預備隊主帥常衛巍，但他在今年年初已經離開了 ，加盟到武漢女足當主帥。如今預備隊主帥位置 ，已經由卡帥的助教劉智宇來接任 。從俱樂部的官網介紹欄中 ，也顯示劉智宇目前的職位 ，就是一線隊助教兼預備隊主帥。
關於劉智宇的履曆 ，相信很多球迷都清楚 ，他先後兩次在廣州隊效力 ，總計已經有接近十年的時間 。最開始他從球隊的技術分析師做起 ，先後輔助過李章洙與裏皮兩任名帥 ，幫助球隊首奪亞冠 。在2015年曾一度離開 ，去到河北隊擔任競訓部總監 。不過外出闖蕩僅半年左右 ，劉智宇又收到了恒大這邊的回歸邀請 。麵對世界冠軍主帥斯科拉裏的招攬，劉智宇毫不猶豫又回來廣州 ，並正式擔任一線隊助教。
從此就開啟了在廣州隊的又一個五年生涯，先後輔助過兩大世界冠軍主帥 ，難怪卡帥也非常信任劉智宇 ，在年初球隊的第一階段冬訓時 ，就是劉智宇獨自帶隊訓練 ，他每天都錄製訓練視頻發給卡帥 ，讓意大利人掌握球員們的最新情況 。
雖然以二線隊出戰亞冠 ，我們對成績已經不報期望 ，但也希望通過這些大賽 ，能發現一些未來新星 ，特別是對於力爭更新換代的廣州隊來說 ，小球員們隻要在亞冠上有亮眼表現 ，那麽將很有機會在第二階段聯賽進入一線隊 。
