新京報訊（記者 周蕭）2021中國足協杯1/4決賽首回合將於10月23日下午在大連打響，山东胜算周末兩天完成4場比賽角逐 。泰山其中武漢隊挑戰山東泰山的外援比賽最具看點，率隊挑戰老東家的坐镇李霄鵬在今天的賽前發布會上表示 ，球隊的更有赶上狀態在兩場足協杯後有所提升 ，將全力以赴對待本場比賽 。李霄
足協杯8強戰和老東家碰麵 ，鹏盼李霄鵬對山東泰山極為尊重 ，洋枪“不論是山东胜算現在的山東泰山 ，還是泰山之前的魯能泰山 ，一直都是外援我的東家 ，對我出來執教也給予了很大幫助 。坐镇本場比賽我們會全力以赴，更有赶上要向大家展示我們配得上這場比賽 。李霄”武漢隊前兩場足協杯比賽均以全華班出戰，鹏盼隊中兩名外援拉斐爾和洛佩斯已經返回中國並完成隔離 。李霄鵬希望他倆下一場能夠歸隊 ，先找一找比賽狀態 。這場足協杯1/4決賽首回合 ，武漢隊大概率仍將以全華班參賽 。
5名外援均在陣中的山東泰山陣容更為齊整 ，對於和李霄鵬賽場相見 ，泰山主帥郝偉表示，“我和李指導以前合作過 ，彼此非常熟悉 ，希望我倆能更好地學習、研究戰術 ，爭取為中國足球發展做出貢獻 。”談到比賽的取勝之匙 ，郝偉強調 ，球隊需要創造更多得分機會 ，並提高進攻效率。
按既定賽程 ，武漢隊與山東泰山的比賽將於23日15時30分率先打響 ，河南嵩山龍門與四川九牛的角逐於19時30分進行 。24日同一時間的兩場比賽為上海申花對深圳隊 ，大連人迎戰上海海港 。
