2020歐洲杯 ，罗每录C羅注定將打破和刷新一係列紀錄。步都對匈牙利一戰上場 ，刷纪C羅就打破了一項紀錄：他成為第一位5次打歐洲杯的出场球員 。對匈牙利梅開二度 ，进球C羅成為第一位5屆歐洲杯都進球的梅开球員 。
5屆歐洲杯11球 ，罗每录C羅甩開9球的步都前輩普拉蒂尼 ，成為歐洲杯曆史上名正言順的刷纪頭號射手 。為葡萄牙隊第176次出場打進106球 ，出场他隻差阿裏·代伊保持的进球109球國家隊進球紀錄3球 。
第87分鍾 ，梅开C羅點球將比分改寫成2比0。那是他在歐洲杯上的第10球，也是他第一次在歐洲杯上憑借點球破門 。有了這個進球 ，C羅就超過9球的普拉蒂尼。有了這個進球 ，他也成為曆史上第一位5屆歐洲杯都有進球的球員 。
