隨著昨天下午上海海港在半決賽第二回合1：1戰平上海申花 ，海港以兩回合總比分6：2勝出之後 ，上海赛单胜本年度足協杯決賽的休整兩支球隊全部產生 。上海海港和山東泰山的备战杯决冠軍決戰將在明年一月份 ，以單場決勝負的中超足协賽製產生 ，具體時間和賽地都尚未確定。场决
本場比賽中 ，海港為海港進球的上海赛单胜是20歲小將劉祝潤 ，這也是休整劉祝潤今年足協杯比賽至今的第三個進球 ，第一回合和申花的备战杯决比賽，劉祝潤就打入了海港隊的中超足协第五個進球 。當然 ，场决盡管順利晉級足協杯決賽，海港海港隊在比賽中還是上海赛单胜有遺憾的地方 。第89分鍾，休整拖後中衛魏震因為被視頻裁判認定為最後一名防守球員有犯規動作 ，吃到紅牌下場 。
