北京時間5月30日晚 ，国足关岛世預賽亞洲區A組重新開戰 ，大胜中國隊7-0戰勝關島 。收获第18分鍾，赢球武磊創造點球並親自操刀命中，奖武幫助國足打破僵局 ，磊当20分鍾後，选本吳曦助攻金敬道擴大領先，国足关岛下半場武磊 、大胜吳曦和艾克森各入一球 ，收获阿蘭替補登場打入兩球 。赢球最終 ，奖武國足以7-0戰勝了關島隊 。磊当李鐵執教國足正式比賽首秀取得開門紅 ，选本同時國足也將與小組領頭羊敘利亞的国足关岛分差縮小到了5分。本場比賽梅開二度的武磊 ，被評為最有價值球員 。
目前去掉與墊底球隊的成績 ，國足在各個小組第二中積分隻有4分 ，排在第6位（根據比賽規則，如果卡塔爾獲得前12名，則成績最好的5個小組第二晉級12強賽） 。這一排名顯然不能讓國足闖入12強賽 。所以，對於國足來說 ，接下來的比賽3連勝將穩穩進入12強賽 。
而對於本次複賽後的40強賽比賽 ，足協為國足設定了獎金方案 ，最後四輪 ，國足贏下關島將獎勵全隊100萬元 ，贏下馬爾代夫將獎勵200萬元 ，戰勝菲律賓將獲得300萬元獎金，而在末輪中戰勝本組中最強對手敘利亞，將獲得600萬元獎金 ，累計獎金達到1200萬元 。
本場比賽國足輕取最弱對手關島 ，也將100萬獎金收入囊中 。
