北京時間10月8日淩晨1點，國足將在阿聯酋沙迦迎來世預賽十二強賽的海当第三個對手越南隊 。此役對國足來說是年踢一場必須贏的比賽 ，不僅關乎到十二強賽的越南赢走勢，更關乎到臉麵 。题现當年範誌毅“再輸下去就要輸越南了”的差距調侃 ，如今成為了國足身上巨大的孙继壓力 。一旦有所閃失 ，海当國足將陷入巨大的年踢輿論壓力 ，衝擊世界杯之路將是越南赢一片灰暗 。
近日 ，题现在節目《足球相對論》裏 ，差距前國腳孫繼海回憶了往日對戰越南隊的孙继情形 ，“在我印象裏 ，海当我和李鐵做球員的年踢時候 ，如果是遇到越南隊，我們就是在更衣室裏聊一聊，講講笑話就上場了 ，隻是贏幾個的問題 。”
孫繼海還說道 ：“最近對越南隊的了解 ，應該是2019年希丁克帶國奧隊和越南國奧打了一場比賽。對方的教練把球隊調教地很成體係 ，贏了我們2-0 ，而且我們比較被動。我保持謹慎樂觀 ，雙方的實力差距不會這麽大。如果中國隊是8分 ，越南就是7.5 。”
賽前 ，國足主帥李鐵表示 ，會尊重和重視每個對手 ，對越南做了很多針對性訓練 ，希望通過比賽來驗證一下 。“過去一個月時間 ，中國隊非常不容易 ，這段時間的強度和量非常大 ，球員每天都過得兩點一線的生活 ，酒店 、訓練場。除了吃飯之外 ，都是在小房間過自己的生活 。他們每天最開心的時間是訓練場上的時間 。”
談到這場比賽的壓力 ，李鐵坦言，任何一場比賽生死之戰 ，不可否認越南隊在過去十年進步非常快 ，但無論麵對誰 ，都要全力以赴爭取勝利。
