新一期U22國家隊集訓名單日前公布 ，列国龙多名征戰中超聯賽的字号小將在列 。為提前做好明年U20亞洲杯預賽備戰工作 ，备战U18國家隊將於11月5日至18日在海口組織今年第五期集訓 。陶强
由塞爾維亞人揚科維奇執教的因违U22國家隊雲集了陶強龍 、蔣聖龍 、纪除單歡歡等一批在中超 、隔年个月足協杯賽場頻頻露麵的回归U23球員 。疫情導致這支隊伍前不久退出U23亞洲杯預賽 ，列国龙轉而專心準備明年在杭州舉辦的字号第19屆亞運會男足比賽 。大連人隊的备战陶強龍因違紀而被除名後 ，今年20歲的陶强他在離開了國字號球隊長達一年零四個月之後回歸。
U18國家隊對於球迷來說還比較陌生，因违隊員主要以2003年出生的纪除球員為基礎 ，吸納了部分2004年出生的隔年个月優秀球員 ，主教練是上屆U16國少主帥西班牙籍的安東尼奧 。領隊由中國足協執委邵佳一擔任 ，他同時還兼任助理教練 ，執委擔任領隊這在各級國字號球隊中屬於是“高配” 。另外，原中國隊前鋒杜震宇和主力門將楊智擔任該隊訓練員 。
U係列國字號隊伍未來兩年的表現 ，意味著中國足球能不能獲得一針“強心劑”。疫情的緣故 ，U22男足失去了U23亞洲杯的鍛煉機會，U18國家隊在正式大賽前多半也是隻練不賽 ，這是所有國字號隊伍共同麵對的難題 。
