此外 ，曝广廣州隊一再推遲集中時間 ，雖然有消息認為和俱樂部基地在整修有關，但實際上真正的原因還是錢 ，據知情人士透露 ，球隊不排除在中超重新開賽前 ，也就是12月才會重新集中 。按照目前的薪資結構 ，廣州隊一年的支出 ，仍然要超過十個億 ，明年誰能接手也是大問題 。

此外 ，白國華的消息稱 ，中超第一階段比賽結束後 ，廣州隊就已經知道了集團的情況下 ，與卡納瓦羅完成了解約 ，在將退稅全部補給卡納瓦羅之後 ，意大利人也爽快放棄了剩餘的大概1600萬歐元薪水 。
