據悉，始欠帅解水雖然俱樂部的弃万母公司在賽季初已經將本賽季俱樂部的運營費用打到了俱樂部的賬戶上 ，不過隨著近期恒大集團財務狀況的欧薪惡化，俱樂部剩餘的曝广運營費用已經被集團收回 。白國華進一步表示 ，州队按照慣例 ，月起约放廣州隊的或开球員9月的工資會在10月初發放 ，但從目前俱樂部的始欠帅解水財政狀況看，無錢可發，弃万這將是欧薪這支八冠王球隊第一次麵臨欠薪的情況。
此外 ，曝广廣州隊一再推遲集中時間 ，雖然有消息認為和俱樂部基地在整修有關 ，但實際上真正的原因還是錢 ，據知情人士透露 ，球隊不排除在中超重新開賽前 ，也就是12月才會重新集中 。按照目前的薪資結構 ，廣州隊一年的支出 ，仍然要超過十個億 ，明年誰能接手也是大問題 。

此外，白國華的消息稱，中超第一階段比賽結束後 ，廣州隊就已經知道了集團的情況下 ，與卡納瓦羅完成了解約 ，在將退稅全部補給卡納瓦羅之後 ，意大利人也爽快放棄了剩餘的大概1600萬歐元薪水 。
