北京時間3月13日 ，廖力中國男足繼續在海口觀瀾湖足球訓練基地進行訓練 ，生场上拼神最訓練開始前廖力生接受了媒體的搏精采訪 。近期廖力生在國足訓練中狀態凸出 ，重主智慧與長春亞泰隊的教练熱身賽中還有進球入賬 ，在隊長吳曦因傷缺陣的地去情況下 ，司職後腰的廖力廖力生得到了國足教練組的重視和青睞，似乎有機會從中場競爭中脫穎而出，生场上拼神最在與沙特隊的搏精比賽中獲得重用 。
目前後腰位置上 ，重主智慧中國隊有多種選擇 ，教练相對而言 ，地去徐新、廖力蒿俊閔和金敬道的生场上拼神最出場時間更長，比賽經驗也更加豐富 ，搏精廖力生作為相對年輕的國腳 ，大賽經驗略顯欠缺，但擁有一腳漂亮的定位球功夫是廖力生的特點 ，關鍵時刻，他的定位球或許能夠幫助中國隊解決困難。本屆12強賽至今 ，中國隊還沒有定位球直接破門的紀錄 。
綜合各方麵因素來看 ，廖力生已經上升為國足教練組頂替隊長吳曦的重要人選之一 。廖力生上賽季出場率比較高 ，競技狀態保持不錯 ，另外在廣州隊經營困難的情況下 ，他也基本敲定了新東家山東泰山 ，在國足備戰中可能更為專注 ，不會受外界因素幹擾 。
在接受采訪時 ，廖力生表示通過兩場熱身賽 ，大家的身體狀態已經調整得非常不錯 。談及主教練跟大家日常的交流 ，他說 ：“平常訓練跟比賽 ，李指導在細節上麵有很多要求 ，總體離不開在場上的拚搏精神，這是最重要的一點。要有智慧地去拚、有勇氣地去拚 。從來到海口之後，訓練量一直很大 ，我和隊友完成都完成的很好 。”
談到自己在國家隊扮演的角色 ，廖力生表示：“能來到國家隊的球員都有各自的優點，我覺得就我個人而言，要把自己的態度 ，包括在球場上的專注度展現出來，然後再加上李指導的技戰術 ，期望為球隊做出更多的貢獻。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
