據悉 ，裸男當地警方很快就查明了他的身份 ，報道稱 ，他僅在過去幾個月就已經被逮捕了15次。
37歲的加西亞是格拉納達當地的“名人” ，經常可以看到他在城市裏赤裸著行走 。2016年夏天 ，他在一次穿越美洲的旅行中受到啟發 ，決定要赤身生活 。他的這種生活方式直接導致了周四歐聯杯比賽的中斷 ，據了解 ，他為此還準備了一段時間 。據格拉納達本地媒體《理想報》報道 ，他在比賽當天早上的9點潛入了場館 ，然後在防水布下藏了14個小時，直到比賽開始後才衝了出來 。因為他的出現 ，比賽一度無法繼續進行 。
