北京時間1月25日下午中國男足繼續在東京體育琦玉體育場副場進行訓練 。郑铮主让争力這也是李导力争中國隊抵達東京之後的第二堂訓練課 。訓練開始前 ，减轻老將鄭錚接受了記者的压力采訪 。
此前的续保12強賽，鄭錚因為家庭原因請假缺席 ，持竞此次也是郑铮主让争力他首次代表國足出戰12強賽小組賽 。對於自己的李导力争表現 ，鄭錚表示 ：“能回球隊非常開心 ，减轻不管以什麽樣的压力角色出戰 ，都會全力以赴打好比賽 。续保上海集訓期間主要是持竞身體上心理上的恢複 ，畢竟經曆了聯賽和足協杯的郑铮主让争力比賽 ，很快就要備戰12強賽，李导力争間歇期很短 ，减轻很快就必須進入到國家隊的比賽中來 。不管以什麽位置出現 ，我作為老隊員都不陌生了，盡可能去調整 ，全力以赴去做準備 。”
對於和日本隊的比賽，鄭錚表示 ：“國家隊的比賽每一場都很重要 ，尤其是12強賽的比賽，我們爭取完成好年前年後兩場小組賽 ，保持一定的競爭力 。對手實力很強勁 ，我們也針對性地看了對手進攻的幾個主要隊員，對於他們的陣型和戰術風格有一定的了解。”
在談到與李霄鵬之間的溝通時 ，鄭錚表示 ：“我和李導第二次合作，李導灌輸的主要是減輕壓力 ，輕鬆地去麵對比賽。之前我踢邊後衛多一些 ，隨著年齡增長，近年來踢中後衛也挺多 ，根據主教練要求 ，隨時做好準備進行調整吧 。”
本賽季山東泰山取得了雙冠王 ，但在鄭錚看來，俱樂部的比賽已經是過去 ，國家隊的比賽壓力更大。“俱樂部的比賽已經完成了，結果也比較理想 ，國家隊的比賽跟俱樂部完全不一樣 ，對手實力更強，給我們製造的壓力更大 ，我們也必須付出更多的努力 ，爭取完成好比賽 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
