Some dogs are just born to run. And cause their owners headaches.
Or in the case of escape artist Boy, a seven-year old Maltese Shih Tzu, they learn how to catch the train. He's hopped a ride five times, in fact.
SEE ALSO:Fun dad allows family dog to get a very unfortunate haircut"He is such a big pain in the arse. He is a rotten snot of a dog," Boy's loving, but frustrated owner Janine Ellem told 9 News.
Basically, he repeatedly digs his way under the fences of his home in Queensland, Australia.
Pot plants, barricades, even an electric fence aren't enough to keep him inside. It's no wonder Boy has been compared to Captain Virgil Hilts, played by Steve McQueen in the film The Great Escape.
The nearest train station at Nudgee is only 700 metres away from his home, where he's managed to get a ride all the way downtown; 10 kilometres away.
Now Boy has to carry a tag on him, which has a (hilarious) note for people who might come across the fluffy commuter.
"Hi my name is Boy. I am a d*ckhead. I don't like my home where I get two meals a day and love, so I escape," the tag reads.
Credit: 9 newsEllem thinks Boy is "acting out" after his best doggy friend Ralph had to be put down, and suggests Boy may be trying to search for him. Either that, or he's erm, a bit a unsettled.
"I think he's going to finally have to go to the vet and get neutered. I think he's going to finally lose his manhood," Ellem told the news outlet.
Sorry Boy, but it's for your own good.
