冷凍治療室可以用最低零下200攝氏度的罗家疗室零下溫度來幫助治療和修複人體組織 ，在進行全身治療時，中安装冷C羅必須帶上手套 ，冻治度助爬進等身大小的其保容器內 ，之後液氮將被泵入容器周圍的持健空氣中。用戶最多隻能在容器內停留5分鍾時間 ，罗家疗室零下再久就可能對健康構成嚴重威脅 。中安装冷
據冷凍治療的冻治度助倡導者認為 ，這種治療方式可以促進人體血液循環並改善免疫係統 ，其保減少疲勞並幫助傷病更快康複。持健C羅從2013年起就開始使用冷凍治療設備 ，當時他還在皇馬踢球 。而在2018年加盟尤文後 ，C羅在意大利的家中也安裝了冷凍治療室，如今他又花費數千英鎊把這套設備從意大利運到了英國 。
一位消息人士告訴《太陽報》 ：“C羅在照顧自己的身體方麵一絲不苟 ，為了獲益他會不惜一切代價 ，這是他的第一優先事務。把冷凍治療室從意大利運到柴郡並不容易 ，但現在他很高興這些設備在這裏 ，因為這將有助於他的賽後恢複過程 。把冷凍治療室帶到英國是他的首要任務之一，因為他知道英超聯賽對身體的要求有多麽高 ，他希望確保自己的身體保持在巔峰狀態。”
C羅的曼聯隊友拉什福德也曾使用過冷凍療法 ，還有C羅在皇馬的隊友貝爾也是冷凍療法的支持者 。而萊斯特城在2016年奇跡奪得英超聯賽冠軍時 ，當時的主帥拉涅利也推薦球員們使用冷凍療法 。
