北京時間12月6日 ，據《太陽報》報道 ，下任阿賈克斯主帥滕哈特對於範德貝克在曼聯的滕哈特准遭遇頗為憤怒和不解 ，他將其稱之為一種“致命的备好罪過” 。
最有趣的对挑一點是 ，在朗尼克入主曼聯之前，曼联滕哈特曾經是下任老特拉福德選帥榜單上的TOP3之一，另外兩個則是滕哈特准死活不肯來的齊達內 ，以及已經先一步去熱刺執教的备好孔蒂。
是对挑滕哈特培養出了範德貝克 ，這一點無需質疑，曼联正是下任在荷蘭人在阿姆斯特丹競技場的帶領下 ，範德貝克成長成為了整個歐洲最為炙手可熱的滕哈特准中場中路球星 。
他們一起在2019年的备好歐冠比賽中一路殺入半決賽，取得了令人難以置信的对挑成績 ，並且在同年斬獲了荷甲冠軍 。

滕哈特談到 ：“我覺得範德貝克太難了 ，這簡直是個致命的罪過 。”
“如果他們還沒有得到出場機會的話 ，個人職業生涯的發展也會停滯 。我隻有不時的去鼓勵他們 。”
有趣的是，滕哈特到目前為止依然是曼聯可能的救世主之一，所以他依然有可能擔當範德貝克的救世主的角色 。這是因為紅魔與朗尼克簽下的執教合同隻到本賽季結束後 ，在那之後德國人將轉做體育總監 ，而老特拉福德將迎來新帥 ，滕哈特顯然依然名列選項之中，並且排序頗高 。
更有甚者 ，他在接受采訪時承認 ，自己已經做好了迎接更大挑戰的準備 ，這讓人們對於他將赴曼徹斯特執教的猜測之聲變得更大 。
滕哈特談到：“我想我已經準備好了（下一步計劃） 。我很樂意接受這個挑戰 。”
“但我並不是在追求著能有機會得到它。如果事實證明這一天永遠也不會到來了 ，我也不會認為自己的教練生涯因此而有什麽失敗的地方 。”
“但我認為 ，我有足夠的能力來應對這個挑戰 。”
