《華爾街日報》近日曝光了內馬爾與耐克公司解約的尔又內幕，原因是陷丑嫌性內馬爾涉嫌在2016年性侵一位耐克公司的女員工，而且拒絕配合調查。闻涉隨後內馬爾方麵對此進行了否認 。侵耐但是克女耐克公司發表了聲明 ，對媒體的员工報道予以了確認 。

據悉 ，克女在2016年的一次Air Jordan品牌的活動中 ，一位耐克公司的女員工負責內馬爾團隊的後勤工作 。在當年的6月2日淩晨 ，酒店的工作人員請求這位耐克公司的女員工和另一名耐克員工一起，幫助酒醉的內馬爾進入酒店房間 。但是就在此事過後，這位女員工向自己的朋友以及同事表示 ，當她和內馬爾在房間內短暫獨處時 ，內馬爾曾脫下褲子試圖對他進行猥褻 ，並且試圖阻止她離開房間 ，然後在未穿衣服的情況下追逐她直至酒店走廊的盡頭 。
而在當時 ，這位女員工沒有報案，但在2018年 ，她提出了申訴 ，而耐克公司也成立了調查組 ，不過內馬爾反對指控並且拒絕接受調查 ，這一舉動惹怒了耐克公司 ，最終耐克與內馬爾結束合作 。對於《華爾街日報》的報道 ，內馬爾的發言人進行了否認 ，發言人表示 ，內馬爾與耐克終止合作是“出於商業原因” 。
隨後耐克公司發表了聲明 ，證明了《華爾街日報》報道的真實性 。耐克公司如此寫道 ：“我們對一名員工針對內馬爾涉嫌性侵的指控深感不安，該事件發生在2016年，並於2018年被正式報告至耐克公司 。作為當事人的雇主 ，我們有責任尊重其隱私。此前我們認為，在未經其同意的情況下，向任何執法部門以及第三方透露其隱私是不合適的 。此後在2019年 ，當該員工表明意願後 ，我們采取了行動 ，立即委派了獨立調查組，並為其聘請獨立的法律顧問 ，一切費用由我們承擔 。目前調查尚無定論 ，在沒有任何事實依據的情況下作出帶有指控性質的陳述是不合適的 。耐克已經終止與該運動員的合作關係，因為他拒絕真誠地配合針對其不當行為的指控的調查 。”
需要指出的是 ，內馬爾不是第一次身陷性侵醜聞了 ，在2019年的時候，內馬爾被一位名叫特拉琳達的模特指控強奸，但是隨後沒有了下文 。
