而德國媒體Sport則透露 ，皇馬對引進哈蘭德也有一些疑問 。首先，皇馬在明年的鋒線引援首選目標是免簽姆巴佩 ，作為當今歐洲足壇最受關注的兩位年輕前鋒，哈蘭德和姆巴佩如果同時加盟皇馬，兩人未必能夠共存 。其次 ，皇馬中鋒老將本澤馬依然保持著極佳的競技狀態 ，而且本澤馬和皇馬主席弗洛倫蒂諾關係密切 ，哈蘭德在加盟皇馬後並不能確保主力位置 。第三，哈蘭德容易受傷的體質也讓皇馬擔心 ，本賽季哈蘭德已經因傷缺席了8場多特蒙德的比賽 。
