北京時間2023年2月7日根據媒體統計進入2023年英超聯賽各支球隊的積分榜 ，其中升班馬諾丁漢森林位列榜首 ，曼聯第4，曼城第6 ，阿森納第8 ，而利物浦排在倒數第一 。
2023年英超積分榜具體排名是諾丁漢森林 、布萊頓 、布倫特福德 、曼聯 、阿斯頓維拉 、曼城 、熱刺 、阿森納 、狼隊 、富勒姆 、紐卡斯爾聯 、切爾西 、西漢姆聯 、萊斯特城、南安普頓 、埃弗頓 、利茲聯、水晶宮 、伯恩茅斯 、利物浦 。
諾丁漢森林2023年英超聯賽5場3勝2平保持不敗 ，分別是1-1戰平切爾西 、1-0戰勝南安普頓 、2-0萊斯特城 、1-1伯恩茅斯和1-0利茲聯 ，值得一提的是他們前17場3勝4平9負僅得13分 ，如今24個積分位列第13名成功逃離降級區，這樣看來保級大有希望 。
阿森納在2023年0-1爆冷不敵埃弗頓遭遇賽季第二敗 ，這場比賽還是暴露出不少的問題，麵對高強度的逼搶頻頻失誤 ，邊路被限製就缺少威脅進攻方式 ，還是中場的創造力稍弱點，不過目前在少賽一輪的情況下領先第二的曼城5分 ，隻要接下來的賽程不要繼續掉鏈子，奪得本賽季的英超冠軍依舊是十拿九穩。
利物浦進入2023年英超聯賽1平3負未嚐一勝 ，分別是1-3不敵布倫特福德 、0-3完敗布萊頓 、0-0戰平切爾西以及0-3狼隊 ，四場比賽僅進1球且丟9個球 ，攻防兩端都是極其糟糕，前鋒不進球 ，後防隊員還時常失誤 ，看不到任何亮點 。
本賽季至今20場8勝5平7負積29分位列第10名 ，如今的利物浦給球迷的感覺就是誰都踢不贏 ，爭四幾乎沒有可能 ，再加上歐冠淘汰賽即將來臨 ，八分之一決賽麵對皇馬似乎難有還手之力 ，盡管對手狀態同樣不佳 ，但相比起來紅軍顯然更加低迷。
