由於朗尼克的朗尼联制C罗入主，曼聯在陣容上肯定會有所調整 ，克已除了在中場方麵鎖定RB萊比錫的定明德悍將海達拉外，朗尼克還準備對曼聯的夏计鋒線動手 。
據德國《圖片報》的划组哈兰消息，朗尼克已經為曼聯製定了明夏的尔纳引援計劃 ，並且與紅魔方麵進行了溝通 ，朗尼联制C罗德國教頭希望引進哈蘭德和維爾納 ，克已從而組成C羅+哈蘭德+維爾納的定明德新三叉戟 。
《圖片報》指出 ，夏计朗尼克希望為曼聯帶來變革 ，划组哈兰他認為球隊目前的尔纳鋒線過於臃腫，需要對其進行優化 。朗尼联制C罗在曼聯目前的克已陣中 ，除C羅外 ，定明德鋒線還有拉什福德 、馬夏爾 、卡瓦尼 、格林伍德等人 ，這些球員中有的年事已高 ，有的則同質化嚴重，他們之中肯定會有人離開 。
此外 ，朗尼克還要為曼聯帶來高質量的球員 ，他所指的“高質量球員”即為哈蘭德和維爾納 。眾所周知 ，哈蘭德在明夏會有7500萬歐元的違約金生效 ，曼聯所要做的隻是說服球員拒絕其它球隊的邀請 。而維爾納 ，雖然在切爾西被揶揄為“金色偵察機” ，但對於曾經執教過RB萊比錫的朗尼克來說 ，如何激活維爾納應當不是問題 。
