現年26歲的本赛馬夏爾 ，在2015年夏天以6000萬歐元的曼联马夏盟塞價格加盟曼聯。當時 ，官方尚不滿20歲的尔租法國人頂著天才的光環來到老特拉福德，曼聯為其支付了遠超其當時800萬歐元身價的借加季结轉會費 。
然而馬夏爾在曼聯的维利發展並不順利 ，本賽季更是亚至淪為可有可無的球員。據統計，本赛馬夏爾本賽季各項賽事共計出場11次 ，曼联马夏盟塞總時長367分鍾 ，隻在英超打入1球 。相比於巔峰時期的6500萬歐元身價 ，馬夏爾如今的身價隻有3200萬歐元 。
據媒體此前的報道 ，馬夏爾的租借合同不包含買斷條款 ，法國人放棄了在曼聯半個賽季的薪水，因此塞維利亞隻需要支付其300萬歐元的另一半薪水即可 。此外 ，曼聯不需要支持塞維利亞任何費用 。
