現年22歲的波切不表巴佩姆巴佩出自摩納哥青訓，2017年夏天加盟巴黎聖日耳曼 ，如今他已經是大巴黎和法國國家隊的主力 。不過姆巴佩的合同隻剩一年就要到期 ，而且一直拒絕續約 。姆巴佩想要轉會去西甲豪門皇馬 ，甚至不惜再拖延一個賽季 ，等到明年夏天合同到期後自由離隊 。
不過《馬卡報》透露 ，皇馬正在關注梅西和巴黎聖日耳曼能否達成協議 。皇馬認為，如果大巴黎簽下了梅西 ，那麽鋒線將得到進一步補強 ，這樣一來大巴黎就有可能改變主意在今夏放走姆巴佩 ，皇馬就可以乘機出手求購姆巴佩 。
但隨後巴黎聖日耳曼主帥波切蒂諾表示 ：“我們都知道昨天發生了什麽 ，但現在讓我們考慮明天對特魯瓦的比賽 。納賽爾主席和萊昂納多經理正在努力改善球隊 ，俱樂部正在研究轉會市場，並且努力提升陣容實力 。我還沒有和梅西談過，但像梅西這樣的球員顯然讓我很感興趣 。不過即使梅西來了，這並不意味著姆巴佩會離開 。”
如果巴黎聖日耳曼在簽下梅西的同時真的還能留住姆巴佩 ，那麽將組成梅西-姆巴佩-內馬爾的超強鋒線三叉戟 ，新賽季大巴黎在歐冠賽場上將成為奪冠大熱門 。
