北京時間1月13日，中國男足繼續在上海世紀公園球場進行訓練 ，归化隊長吳曦接受了媒體的教练采訪 。在回應歸化球員可能將缺席接下來12強賽的希望問題時 ，吳曦表示 ，放下這不是包袱隊員應該考慮的問題 。
吳曦說 ：“歸化球員來不來 ，吴曦可能不是归化我們球員所考慮的問題 ，他們來了，教练咱們就在一起好好訓練 ，希望好好磨合，放下不來 ，包袱我們也會有其他的吴曦安排，去準備比賽 。归化”
對於近期的教练訓練 ，吳曦表示 ：“聯賽結束之後 ，主要是在休息保持一定的身體機能訓練 ，通過昨天的恢複訓練 ，今天有一些力量的訓練 ，讓身體就盡快達到對抗的狀態 。跟李指導的交流還沒有很多 ，但通過訓練和生活 ，感覺到教練組希望給球隊營造一種沒有壓力的氛圍 。李導也希望接下來的兩場比賽 ，大家都能放下包袱 ，全力展示 ，隻要把精氣神打出來 ，結果可能也不會太差 。”
吳曦也坦言 ，第一次跟這麽多球員一起集訓 ，對於隊內的年輕球員 ，國足隊長表示 ，希望他們能夠嚴格要求自己 。“年輕隊員在聯賽中表現出了自己的實力 ，非常有活力 ，希望平時訓練中更加嚴格要求自己 ，在更高的舞台上展現自己 。”
在被問到對戴偉浚的印象時 ，吳曦表示 ：“他是有實力的球員 ，但過去主要是作為對手在一起比賽 ，還沒有進行有球的對抗訓練，所有的一切還要在今後的訓練中去慢慢展現 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
