北京時間1月21日消息，曝河據國內媒體《大河報》報道 ，南队河南隊中場兩名主力球員伊沃與周定洋合約均到期 ，拒伊而俱樂部考慮到年齡問題不會與伊沃續約，沃续未收而周定洋也沒有接到歸隊的约周通知 。
《大河報》報道稱，定洋到期河南嵩山龍門正在休假 ，合约收隊日期暫不確定 ，归队隨著中超轉會窗口的通知開啟 ，河南隊的曝河引援重點放在了中場 。文章稱 ，南队核心功勳外援伊沃合同到期 ，拒伊考慮到伊沃的沃续未收年齡問題，已經沒有續約的约周可能性 。另外 ，定洋到期主力後腰周定洋的合同同樣已到期 ，續約前景也不樂觀。
值得一提的是 ，知名媒體人“Jallo_Tang”也視頻采訪了周定洋 ，從周定洋的話語中也可以看出下賽季他很可能也無緣留在河南隊 。
談到是否會離隊時 ，周定洋表示 ：“我也還不知道 ，月底前就會決定 。其他在國外的隊友都收到歸隊通知 ，就我沒有，而且教練和領導也沒聯係我查詢我訓練的進度 。早兩天 ，我生日 ，具樂部官方社交平台也沒發信息 ，我聽說廣州城的中國香港球員即使合同到期 ，官微還是祝他生日快樂 。哈哈 ，可能俱樂部已經忘記我了(估計他是開玩笑) 。”
如果離隊 ，未來會選擇去哪 ？對於這個問題 ，周定洋回答道 ：“歐洲 ，中東和一些其他的中超隊也有向我發出邀請 ，過幾天我補辦完婚禮後 ，就得決定 ，因為歐洲轉會窗就在月底關 ，如果先留在歐洲保持狀態 ，也得聯係河南那邊要轉會文件 。現在人生重要的事情都處理好(估計他說婚禮和生小孩) ，也得開始抓緊簽署工作合同了 。”
在被問到身體狀態如何保持時 ，周定洋表示 ：“自己一直跟著英國那邊的職業球隊訓練 。”
除此之外 ，周定洋也一直關心著河南的疫情 ，並希望河南的疫情盡快過去 。（DD）
