曼聯掙紮的恐因表現讓C羅的收入受到了一定程度的影響 。英國媒體《太陽報》最新消息稱 ，曼联歐冠止步八強讓C羅至少損失了250萬英鎊的战绩至少獎金，而如果曼聯本賽季爭四失敗，失万葡萄牙人累計至少損失500萬英鎊的镑奖收入。

消息稱 ，C羅的合同中規定 ，如果曼聯本賽季贏得歐冠，C羅將得到一筆250萬英鎊的獎金 。曼聯在英超中的最終排名也會決定C羅的一筆獎金，從聯賽第四名的250萬英鎊到奪冠的500萬英鎊獎金不等。曼聯在此前的歐冠八分之一決賽中不敵馬競，考慮到紅魔目前的狀態以及未來賽程對手的強度，想要爭四也很困難 。在這種情況下 ，C羅本賽季的獎金將會至少損失500萬英鎊 。目前可以確定的是 ，C羅將激活一條浮動獎金條款，那就是C羅獲得隊內的最佳射手 。在曼聯內部 ，C羅以18球領跑隊內射手榜 ，排名第二的則是C羅的葡萄牙同胞布魯諾-費爾南德斯 ，後者打進了9粒進球。
