接下來羅馬將返回意大利 ，並且備戰周末對佛羅倫薩的首輪意甲聯賽 。穆裏尼奧透露 ：“今天回到羅馬後全隊都將留在訓練基地內過夜 ，不會回家 。也許女士們會不高興 ，可能還會生我的氣 。但我們回來得太晚了 ，我們得迅速恢複。這就是職業精神 ，假期已經結束了 。”
穆裏尼奧還被問及爭冠形勢 ，“所有球員和球迷們都夢想著獎杯，我們踢球不是為了玩樂，而是為了贏得一些東西 。但上賽季我們落後冠軍國米29分 ，落後第四名16分或19分 ，此前兩個賽季排名第六和第七。我們必須逐步前進 。”
