目前文圖拉已經賦閑一年多的拉宣時間，而在近日接受采訪時這位73歲的布退老人明確表示自己要結束執教生涯 ：“我決定停下來 ，我不想在球場邊指揮比賽了 。經過37年的執教生涯 ，我經曆了一些積極和消極的時刻 ，我認為恢複正常生活是我的權利。歲月流逝 ，我要好好享受生活。”在被問到是否會擔任技術總監時 ，文圖拉說道 ：“我改變一下自己的觀點吧 ，一切都有可能 。”
隨後 ，文圖拉還談起了目前的意大利隊，同時也祝願曼奇尼好運 ：“意大利對戰瑞士的比賽 ？我祝願曼奇尼好運 ，我希望曼奇尼帶隊意大利殺入世界杯正賽 ，並贏得世界杯的冠軍。”
在采訪的最後 ，文圖拉談起了本賽季意甲冠軍以及尤文的問題 ：“意甲冠軍 ？我們認為競爭是開放的 ，那不勒斯會因為非洲杯受到一些影響 ，因為那不勒斯陣中的一些重要球員會參加非洲杯 。米蘭給人一種非常團結緊湊的感覺 。但是現在聯賽才剛剛開始 ，兩次直接對話足可以改變一切 。”
“尤文圖斯 ？與過去幾個賽季相比 ，本賽季的尤文沒有了以往的強勢 ，上個賽季尤文在最後時刻贏得了歐冠資格 ，C羅的30個進球是個保證 ，但是本賽季他們必須要好好審視一下自己的表現 。但是我們都知道 ，如果想要對球隊進行重建 ，那麽就必須清楚 ，這需要時間 。如果尤文的目標還是贏得意甲冠軍 ，我認為他們可能無法實現這個目標。
