蘇寧集團宣布解散了江蘇蘇寧 ，苏宁這支中超衛冕冠軍無法參加本賽季的国米中超聯賽 。而蘇寧集團對待旗下的寻亿另外一支球隊國米的態度則溫和得多 。來自意大利《慢鏡頭》的贷款消息稱，蘇寧會在3月底支付欠發的注资球員工資 ，另外還要支付欠付的本月轉會費。而來自《羅馬體育報》的结清最新消息 ，蘇寧要在6月底之前尋求一筆1.5億歐元的欠薪欠款貸款注入國米 。
2016年的苏宁夏天，蘇寧集團拿出2.7億歐元收購了國米70%的国米股份 ，在2019年的寻亿1月份又從托希爾手中買下了其餘30%的國米股份 ，實現了對國米的贷款完全控股 。接手國米後，注资蘇寧投資巨大 ，本月國米的结清成績也是逐步提升 ，連續三個賽季獲得參加歐冠的資格 。本賽季目前9分領跑意甲 ，非常有可能贏得本賽季的意甲冠軍 。
但是因為一係列原因 ，蘇寧集團已經無力承擔國米高額的運營費用，媒體頻繁曝出蘇寧要甩賣國米的消息 ，來自英國以及中東地區的金主與國米的未來聯係在一起 。而鑒於國米非常有可能在本賽季贏得意甲，蘇寧的態度有所改變 ，除非收到無法拒絕的報價 ，否則的話蘇寧會堅持到國米本賽季奪冠後再賣掉球隊 。
而這樣一來 ，蘇寧也開始了對國米的自救 。《慢鏡頭》稱 ，在本周三之前 ，也就是3月31日之前 ，國米會向皇馬支付阿什拉夫的第一筆分期轉會費1000萬歐 ，同時還要補上球員的拖欠工資 。如果國米不能在3月31日前支付費用 ，那麽他們將有可能得不到歐足聯下賽季的歐戰比賽許可 。
《羅馬體育報》的消息稱 ，在今年的6月30日之前 ，蘇寧還需要為國米注入1.5億歐元的資金，這筆資金有助於支付國米即將到期的一些待付款項，並幫助他們準備下賽季。由於缺乏現金流 ，因此蘇寧將會設法貸款1.5億歐元支付這筆款項 。
根據《國米新聞網》的消息 ，在4月份 ，國米主席張康陽會來到米蘭 ，親自推動國米隊徽更改一事 ，另外還要與一些投資方進行談判，他們希望能在6月30日之前解決問題 ，並對新賽季進行規劃 。
