因為近期連續客場麵對頂級球隊 ，门中瓜迪奧拉對球隊陣容進行了微調 。框瓜比賽開始後 ，头难曼城毫無疑問成為了占據主動權的置信球隊 。不過接二連三的奶奶事情恐怕讓瓜迪奧拉隻能感受到苦澀 。首先是開場僅僅8分鍾，大巴黎右路的配合傳球就讓格耶爆射完成破門 ，相當於開場就帶著0-1落後的曼城遇到了不小的難題 。除了要時刻提防大巴黎的前場豪華三叉戟 ，還要麵對他們固若金湯的防守線 。
不過在主隊穩健的防守麵前，瓜迪奧拉的球隊還是找到了一絲縫隙 ，但是可惜的是他們卻離奇地錯失了 。第26分鍾 ，德布勞內傳球，斯特林禁區內頭球攻門被橫梁擋出 ，隨後緊接著B席小禁區內的補射又再次擊中立柱彈出 。看到這一幕 ，場邊的瓜迪奧拉隻能抱頭難以置信 ，這真是一個打不進比打進還要難的得分機會 。瓜迪奧拉其實有不少場邊抱頭的動作 ，最為出名的肯定是萊萬9分鍾轟入5球的抱頭 ，同樣是難以置信 ，這一次恐怕的是帶有遺憾和苦澀的抱頭 。
除了這一幕外 ，下半場梅西攻破自己球隊的球門 ，不知道瓜迪奧拉是何感想。執教曼城以來，梅西已經麵對自己攻入了5個進球，成為第四位麵對瓜式曼城至少打入5球的球員 。不過輸掉一場小組賽對於瓜迪奧拉和曼城來說並不是噩夢。小組賽隻要他們正常發揮 ，出線其實是沒有大問題的 。不過為了小組第一 ，藍月亮有必要和大巴黎進行強有力的競爭。下一次主場麵對梅西領銜的大巴黎 ，不知道瓜迪奧拉可以拿出怎樣的應對辦法 。
