奪得歐聯冠軍 ，法甲也讓法蘭克福直接獲得了參加下賽季歐冠小組賽的下赛資格 。而截至目前 ，季欧已經確定獲得下賽季歐冠小組賽資格的冠强各剩球隊有24支 。其中在五大聯賽方麵 ，已确英超英超和法甲都還有一個直接晉級歐冠正賽的定席队待定名額尚未確定 。此外，法甲法甲還有一個參加第三輪資格賽的下赛名額尚未確定 。
根據歐足聯規定 ，季欧積分排名前四的冠强各剩聯賽 ，擁有4個歐冠正賽席位 。排名第5-6位的聯賽 ，有2個正賽席位+1個第三輪資格賽席位 。第7-10名的聯賽 ，有1個正賽席位+1個第三輪資格賽席位。加上歐聯冠軍和歐冠冠軍，總計應有26支直接晉級小組賽的球隊 。而如果歐冠冠軍已經通過聯賽排名獲得了歐冠席位 ，那麽該資格將由排名第11位的聯賽繼承 。
