本賽季迄今為止 ，境荣維納爾杜姆雖然代表巴黎有過11次出場 ，维纳但總計隻有502分鍾的尔杜出場時間 ，隻有6次首發出場 ，姆不梅西其中還有過一次半場就被換下的开心經曆 。對陣裏昂這樣的巴黎強敵 ，維納爾杜姆更是处队友隻得到了4分鍾的“垃圾時間”。
“我不會說我會完全開心，境荣因為情況不是维纳我想要的 ，但這就是足球 。”維納爾杜姆說道 ，“我是一名鬥士，我必須要保持積極、努力工作，來扭轉這種局麵 ，我必須要學著處理這一切 。過去這些年 ，我踢了很多的比賽 ，我一直都很健康 ，所以這一切是不尋常的 。我真的很想邁出這一步 ，然後這樣的情況就發生了，這真的非常艱難 。”
維納爾杜姆還談到了同樣在今夏加盟的梅西 ，“在如此近的距離看到偉大的球星 ，這很難用言語來描述。他是曆史最佳球員之一 ，能每天看到他訓練 ，這真的是三生有幸 。而當你看到他是一個多麽優秀的人的時候，這種感覺就更甚了 。他給俱樂部帶來了巨大的推動力 ，我很開心能和他當隊友 。”
