北京時間1月21日消息 ，外媒位據外國媒體《每日電訊報》報道 ，埃弗英超球隊埃弗頓日前與前廣州隊主帥卡納瓦羅進行了會談 ，顿卡德竞商討其出任球隊新帥的纳瓦事宜 ，不過卡納瓦羅還麵臨著魯尼與蘭帕德的罗进鲁尼兰帕競爭 。
《每日電訊報》報道稱，争帅埃弗頓為尋求新帥已經與卡納瓦羅進行了會麵 ，外媒位而前英格蘭國家隊前鋒魯尼與蘭帕德也將與埃弗頓進行談判 。埃弗文章稱 ，顿卡德竞這位意大利的纳瓦世界杯冠軍球員渴望在英超繼續他的教練生涯 ，在周三的罗进鲁尼兰帕會談上 ，卡納瓦羅給埃弗頓留下了深刻的争帅印象 。
此外 ，外媒位前英格蘭國腳 、埃弗德比郡主帥魯尼以及被切爾西解雇後失業的顿卡德竞蘭帕德也將與埃弗頓進行會麵。在選帥過程中 ，俱樂部大股東法哈德-莫西裏以及主席比爾-肯賴特將發揮著重要作用 ，目前尚不清楚候選人名單是否隻有他們三人 ，不過據知情人士透露 ，埃弗頓很可能最終就在三人當中選擇一名主帥。
埃弗頓最初計劃邀請比利時國家隊主帥馬丁內斯執教，但馬丁內斯表態他並不想在世界杯之前離任 ，而比利時足協又拒絕了馬丁內斯身兼兩職的請求 。
《每日電訊報》表示 ，卡納瓦羅是一個有趣的選擇 ，在他輝煌的職業生涯中，他曾先後效力於帕爾馬 、那不勒斯 、尤文圖斯以及皇家馬德裏，在國家隊他是意大利的隊長 ，帶領球隊在2006年的世界杯中奪冠 ，並贏得了之後的金球獎 。
文章還介紹了卡納瓦羅在中超的經曆，這位48歲的意大利教練在中國獲得了寶貴的執教經驗，他曾兩度執教廣州隊 ，盡管沒有在英國工作過 ，但是他已經會講英語 ，並希望能加盟英超聯賽 。
值得一提的是 ，卡納瓦羅此前曾有機會執教波蘭國家隊，但是由於備戰時間太緊 ，他拒絕了波蘭足協的邀請 。
在尋找新帥的同時 ，埃弗頓已經任命鄧肯-弗格森為球隊臨時主帥 ，這可以為他們贏得更多時間 。
