北京時間5月17日 ，克洛來自英國媒體《每日鏡報》的普确消息稱，在對戰曼聯的塔战提前比賽中腳部受傷的若塔不會參加本賽季其餘的比賽 ，賽季報銷 。曼联
若塔在本賽季加盟了紅軍 ，时受伤本赛季雖然是宣告初來乍到，但是报销若塔的進攻效率不俗，在為紅軍出戰的克洛18場比賽中出場1112分鍾 ，打入9個進球。普确在英超對戰曼聯的塔战提前比賽中，若塔首發出場，曼联並且在比賽中打入1個進球 ，时受伤本赛季而最終紅軍在客場4-2擊敗了曼聯 。宣告
盡管若塔打入一球 ，报销但是克洛在對戰曼聯的比賽中受傷 ，他也沒有進入紅軍對戰西布朗維奇比賽的大名單 。而在賽前的新聞發布會上 ，紅軍主帥克洛普也宣布，若塔腳部受傷 ，無緣本賽季剩餘的比賽 ：“若塔受傷了 ，是骨頭的問題，傷勢不太嚴重，但是若塔難以在本賽季隨後的比賽中出場了 。”
利物浦目前在英超位居第五位，未來還有兩輪聯賽要踢，對手分別是伯恩利與水晶宮 。對於紅軍來說 ，最後兩輪英超非常關鍵 。畢竟利物浦如果要想獲得歐冠資格，隻有在未來兩戰全部獲勝。而現在紅軍與第四名切爾西分差為1分，與第三名萊斯特城分差為3分 。
