近日內馬爾接受了巴西網絡播客節目的内马采訪 ，他表示自己未來考慮去美職聯踢球，想去並且希望超越貝利成為巴西國家隊的美职曆史第一射手 。
本月剛度過自己30歲生日的联希內馬爾表示：“未來 ？我還不確定，依然存在疑問，望国我不知道自己是家队进球否還會回到巴西國內踢球 。不過我想要去美職聯踢球 ，数超在那裏至少踢一個賽季 。贝利為什麽？内马因為美職聯的賽季更短，因此我可以獲得三個月的想去假期 。我可以踢很多年。美职”
接著內馬爾還談到了自己何時退役的联希話題 ：“我曾和朋友開玩笑說過我將在32歲退役 ，但那隻是望国個玩笑 。隻要我在精神上和身體上不感到疲憊，家队进球我就會繼續踢下去，数超我的健康和精神是最重要的。我和巴黎聖日耳曼的合同將持續到我34歲 ，因此至少在那之前我都會繼續踢球 。”
內馬爾至今為止已經為巴西國家隊打進70球 ，距離球王貝利保持的巴西國家隊進球紀錄隻差7球。內馬爾坦言自己希望超越貝利 ：“如果能成為巴西國家隊的曆史最佳射手 ，將是一種莫大的榮幸。如果我說自己不這麽想 ，那麽我就是在撒謊。是的 ，這的確是我的個人目標之一 ，我希望能實現這個目標。”
內馬爾還表示球迷們對巴西國家隊的關注正在減少 ，“巴西國家隊和巴西球迷們正在遠離，我不知道為什麽會這樣 ，也不知道是從什麽時候開始的。但我在我們的比賽中看到了這種現象 ，很少有人談論巴西國家隊的比賽 ，人們甚至不知道比賽什麽時候開始 。當我還是孩子時 ，巴西國家隊的比賽非常重要 ，人們穿著國家隊的球衣，把國旗掛在窗外……現在這變成了一場不再那麽重要的比賽 ，我不知道為什麽會這樣 。”
本賽季的歐冠1/8決賽首回合 ，巴黎聖日耳曼主場1-0戰勝西甲豪門皇馬 。內馬爾期待大巴黎能在歐冠取得好成績：“我們想要為巴黎聖日耳曼在歐冠賽場創造曆史 。我們會看看接下來將發生什麽 ，我們正在為此努力工作 。”
