弗格森說道：“C羅絕對配得上金球獎 ，他今年打破了一個又一個紀錄 。”值得一提的是 ，C羅已經成為了歐洲杯曆史最佳射手 、歐冠曆史最佳射手 ，也是國家隊層麵的曆史射手王 ，葡萄牙人職業生涯的比賽進球數也已超過貝利 。C羅距離達到職業生涯800球隻差5球 。
