本周，难忍一名英超球員被曝涉嫌兒童性犯罪被警方逮捕 ，受丈隨後英超埃弗頓俱樂部發布公告 ，夫涉弗顿宣布隊內一名球員被停訓接受警方調查 。嫌性《太陽報》透露，侵儿球员妻搬這名涉案球員的童埃妻子已經搬離家中 ，因為她難以忍受丈夫的难忍行為 。
此前大曼徹斯特警方搜查了這名球員的受丈豪宅 ，並且查出了幾件涉案物品 。夫涉弗顿據《太陽報》報道 ，嫌性這名埃弗頓球員的侵儿球员妻搬妻子已經從兩人的家中搬走 ，回到父母家居住 ，童埃她顯然對丈夫的难忍這種犯罪行為無法接受 。
而這名球員在保釋出獄後被埃弗頓俱樂部停訓 ，受丈正繼續接受警方的夫涉弗顿調查 。《太陽報》透露 ，這名球員目前居住在安全屋中 ，而球員的父母和姐妹都來到安全屋中和他一起生活 ，以這種方式表達對家人的支持 。
為了保護當事人隱私 ，媒體和埃弗頓俱樂部都沒有公布這名球員的姓名 。但此前媒體已經透露 ，這名涉案球員31歲 ，是國家隊常客。而埃弗頓一線隊中31歲的球員隻有德爾夫和西古德森 ，並且有消息人士表示 ：“德爾夫完全是無辜的 。由於埃弗頓俱樂部不願公布另一名球員的姓名 ，德爾夫被卷入了這場混亂 。”這幾乎可以讓人肯定，涉案球員就是冰島中場西古德森。
西古德森的妻子名叫亞曆桑德拉 ，是2008年的冰島小姐 ，被譽為冰島最美女性之一 。亞曆桑德拉還在大學攻讀心理學 ，目前擔任一家冰島女性雜誌的副總編 ，可謂是美貌與頭腦兼備 ，西古德森和亞曆桑德拉在國內甚至被譽為“冰島的貝克漢姆夫婦”。
