北京時間6月14日 ，英格據《太陽報》報道 ，兰全英格蘭隊參加歐洲杯的心脏球員全部進行了心髒檢查 ，以降低埃裏克森事件再次在球場上發生的检查概率。
英足總下令 ，未通對全部參加了2020歐洲杯的不得杯英格蘭球員進行了徹底的心髒檢查。
除非他們通過了本次測試 ，再踢或者在一年之內接受過專門的欧洲心電圖檢查 ，並且結果正常 ，英格以及在過去兩年之內接受過詳細的兰全超聲波心跳掃描，否則他們將不被允許參加後麵的心脏比賽 。
